Revolution

Hello readers.

This week, I have a BIG question: how do you want to change the world?

Well, there are so many ways that I could change the world, although it might not seem like there is. Our world is a place with cause and effect.

If I say hi to someone, they will say hi back. But if I don't they might not say hi to me.

Each person can make a difference in the smallest way. I could be nice to family members, buy a friend a birthday present, or give a homeless man a couple dollars.

It doesn't seem like much, but everything makes a difference.

Or you could also do something bigger, something that makes a difference on numerous people, instead of one. Like raise money, clean up your community, do something for someone else.

You probably get the point of what I'm saying, and that is if your going to do something, you don't always have to think big. Think small, then go big. Instead of going out and starting a charity, first start doing it on your own on a smaller scale.

Any good deed makes a difference, no matter how big or small.

Now, what will you do to change the world?
Thats up to you.

My Quest

What's your quest in life?

Hmm, this question is a hard one.

When I think of what I want to do, I'm not sure. I haven't thought much of it. One thing I know for sure is I don't want to be alone in life. That doesn't mean I want to be married.

I want to be close to family a lot and hope fully live a couple hours away from at least one family member. I want to have lots of friends and family and have a good life. I will work hard and play hard. I wan't to live life full of friends, family, happiness, and fun memories. I want to soar like a bird and succeed in my goals. I hope to have a fun life full of exciting times and occasions.

Now, what's your story?

Charlie-topia

What makes a perfect society in my opinion? Glad you asked.

Personally, I would be fine having everyone welcome and not have certain people come. I also would be open to all religions and unlike some of the colonies in the past, not have slavery.

I like technology and modern architecture, so that would be a must in my society. I would take advantage of technology, but not too much.  I don't want everyone sitting on the couch watching TV all day while robots are doing all the work for us.

Kids would be educated the same way we are today. However, maybe have some more rules so the society wouldn't have as many school dropouts.

People would be free to practice any thing they want.

The government would be chosen by citizens and adults could vote.

I would try to stick to more healthy foods, however that doesn't mean I'm taking away sweets.

If we were to have a conflict, I would take a vote so everyone could have a voice.

In terms of goals, I wouldn't have a specific goal. Although one goal for the society is that know one would be poor. I would make sure to have more than enough well paying jobs and hope that everyone would have a great life.

Of course there are many more things that go into starting a colony, but these are just the general guidelines of how I would start a colony.

Learn About Me

We have been studying and writing creation myths, and now its my turn to introduce myself on this blog. I'll use the BIG questions about identity, meaning, and purpose that creation myths explore as my inspiration. Here are 8 things that provide insight about who I am:

1. I'm from Santa Barbara, CA
2. My family and friends are very important to me
3. I'm a tech geek
4. I'm not sure where I'm going in life yet
5. I'm not a big fan of running
6. What I hope for this blog for it to be enjoyed and read by many people
7. What I need is a good life, good friends, and good family
8. I am Charlie
